New York Pizza & Pasta

With many restaurants, when they deliver, they will call me when they are a block away from my house and wait for me to walk to their car to get my food. I find this incredibly annoying because there is always a delivery fee in addition to the expected tip.

With that said my delivery from New York Pizza and Pasta last night could not have been more convenient. Even though my phone died without me realizing it, they completed the delivery and actually brought it inside my house so that it was there when I went to look for it. New York Pizza and Pasta is also one of the few restaurants on GrubHub that doesn't charge a delivery fee - so going above and beyond like that is even more spectacular.

Since a dead phone is on me and not the restaurant I really couldn't be happier with the delivery, as it was accurate, on time, actually delivered to my house rather than to brought to my neighborhood - and the food was good as always.

I used to order from here all the time, but haven't ordered in a very long time, due to not being able to place an order online, thru Mealeo, Grubhub, etc. But tonight, when I decided to order in, I found that I could now order again online, from New York Pizza & Pasta thru Grubhub!

I love this place and love the food! Steak wrap is amazingly delicious and I love the fried chicken breasts and of course the sweet potato pies!

They made a boo boo tonight tho and forgot my sweet potato pies! However, when they made the return delivery with my pies, there was a little extra added surprise!

I AM SOOO HAPPY! New York Pizza & Pasta is now my go-to place, when I want to order in!

The food was good, a little greasy on the eggplant parmesan but the flavors were delicious. The cheese fires were a cheese sauce and not just shredded cheese sprinkled over fries. Exceptionally better than most places for fries. The our salad had lots of papers and olives and extras in it. Personally I thought it was too much but again it was delicious and there really wasn't a need for an extra dressing on the side. Good portions. The food actually 30 mins early which surprised me due to the previous reviews. They even called when they were outside even though I forgot to write it in the grub hub special instructions box. Overall great. Definitely will be ordering from them again.

This restaurant is the talk of the town for their chicken/beef over rice dinners and they lived up to that expectations. The quality of the food was excellent, not what i expected to find in a typical fast food restaurants around capital district area. Even the French fries were deliciously crispy and hot and the delivery guy was super humble. Overall a great first time experience. I'm glad my friend recommend this place to me. From now on this will be my new go to place. Highly recommended to anyone who haven't tried them yet!

Everything Ive ordered from here has been really good. They never mess up my order, delivery is always on time, maybe a couple minutes late but I cant complain. The chicken over rice is BOMB, I always ask for extra sauce and they actually listen. Recently ordered the fried chicken, probably best fried chicken Ive had in a really long time. My ONLY complaint would be is I asked for extra gravy on the side and didnt get it.. Overall very satisfied, will FOR SURE be ordering more frequently.

I've tried almost all the Italian food places here and this one beats all of them. Glad I've found my go to place for Italian finally !
